We're a new product in a tiny industry. Word-of-mouth matters more than top-line revenue right now. Free during beta means real captains, CEs, and DPAs hammering on MANTIS in the wild — finding edge cases, surfacing missing features, telling other vessels. That's the launch we want.
When the product is rock-solid and we've earned the right to charge — measured by active vessels logging IHM changes, unsolicited testimonials, and faster, calmer survey preparation. No fixed date. First review is around September 2026.
Beta users are grandfathered. You'll keep a price-for-life discount well below the public list, and we'll give plenty of notice before any billing activates. If you choose not to continue, your account transitions to read-only and your data is preserved — fully exportable as Excel.
Yes. Part I supports bulk import from Excel. Part II and III can be entered manually or imported — email info@mantis-ihm.com for assisted migration.
Fleets are welcome in the beta. Add as many vessels as you operate, invite your DPAs and CEs — same free access for everyone.
